Common questions
What is this, exactly?
You buy a course and sit its test to keep your brain less dependent on ai: 5 questions a day for 20 days, and a certificate at the end. On a course that pays, every correct answer also returns a share of what you paid straight into your balance β 1.15% on a course at the usual 115%, and each course sets its own.
The money is the mechanism, not the product. Imagine a refund on your school fees for passing exams. Many students will study harder. It exists to get you back on the days you would rather not study, which is the day that decides whether you finish.
Is this an investment?
No. Your fee buys access to a course β its question bank, the daily task built from it, and the certificate at the end. It is not a deposit, not savings, and not held on your behalf.
What you earn back is a motivational mechanism. It is not a return, not a guarantee, and nothing here grows by sitting still.
How does intelligentjump make money?
- Paid courses. A course pays back only for correct answers given in time, and almost nobody gets all 100 right β not even with ChatGPT open. The part of the fee that is not earned back stays with us.
- Jump. Jump opens every question at once, against a faster timer. Many learners jump to finish early and get more of them wrong, and a wrong or late answer pays nothing.
- Invite payments. When somebody pays more than the person who invited them did, that person gets 10% instead of 100%, and the other 90% goes to the platform. That is what pays for test earnings.
- Upgrades. Members who pay more so they stop missing the 100% often end up paying more than the person who invited them did β and then 90% of that payment goes to the platform too.
Can I end up with less than I paid?
Yes, and many learners will. On a course that pays back the usual 115%, 87 correct answers out of 100 returns your fee exactly; below that you finish down, and a perfect cycle pays 115% of it. Each course sets what it pays back, so a course offering more moves both of those numbers β and it tells you what it returns before you buy.
You can use "jump" to skip waiting for tomorrow's questions. We would rather you knew that before you paid than found it out afterwards.
What does a course cost?
Each course sets its own price, and you see it before you buy. On a course that pays, every rate is a percentage of that fee β so the price decides what it pays as well as what it costs.
Studying and getting paid
Does every course pay me back?
No. Every course carries a test and awards the same certificate on the same standard β that part never varies. What varies is whether sitting it also pays: on some courses every correct answer returns part of your fee, and on others it returns nothing and you sit it for the certificate alone.
Each course says which it is before you pay, and the ones that pay nothing are marked when you choose. It is a per-course decision rather than an oversight: a course that pays out both a commission on the sale and more than the fee back to the learner can cost more than it brought in, and not every course can carry both.
Do I have to sit the test?
No. The fee buys the course β the syllabus and the material β and that is yours permanently whether or not you ever start its test. The test is the optional half, for people who want the certificate, the fee back, or both.
You can own as many courses as you like and buy another at any time, including while a test is running. You sit one test at a time.
How do I get my balance out?
Withdraw anything from $1.00 by bank transfer ($5.00 in crypto), put it toward your next course, or send it to another learner as study credit. A 5% processing fee comes off each withdrawal β 2.5% on a membership of $10 or more, 1% on a membership of $50 or more, 0.5% on a membership of $100 or more, 0.25% on a membership of $500 or more, 0% on a membership of $1000 or more β plus a flat β¦50 on a bank transfer, and the withdraw screen shows exactly what youβll receive before you confirm.
You can withdraw what you earned by answering. What you deposited stays as study credit β that is what stops this being a way to move money around rather than a way to buy something.
Can I use AI to answer the questions?
No, and it is not worth trying. On a course paying the usual 115%, 87 of 100 correct returns your fee and a perfect cycle returns 115% β so answering with help is worth a few points rather than a fortune, and the spread is deliberately narrow on every course. We examine cycles where we have reason to.
What is the certificate worth?
It says you answered at least 90% of your questions and measurably improved over the cycle, in your own name, with a code anyone can check. It is evidence you did the work β not that you outscored anybody, and not that you paid.
Every course awards one on the same standard, including the ones that pay nothing back.
Coins, ink and the weekly league
What are coins, and how do I earn them?
Coins are the game currency inside intelligentjump. They are not money: they canβt be withdrawn, sent or swapped for cash. You earn them by:
- Inviting friends β 5 πͺ for every $1 a friend pays to become a member with your link, up to 50 πͺ for $10 or more, and 1 ink. Once per friend; a friend buying a course doesnβt add more.
- Answering β 1 πͺ for every test answer right inside its timer. Wrong or late answers earn none.
- π© Hat-tricks β 5 πͺ more for every 3 right in a row with jump on, on any course. They keep counting across days, so 6 in a row is two. A wrong or late answer starts the count again.
- The daily check-in β 1 πͺ on day one, climbing to 10 πͺ on day 7: 32 πͺ for a full week. Miss a day and it starts over.
- The daily cipher β a secret word posted on our Telegram channel each day. Type it on your dashboard for coins.
- The Earn list β one-off coins for watching the explainer videos and following our channels.
What can I spend coins on?
- Power-ups on a test question: β±οΈ +10 seconds for 4 πͺ, βοΈ 50/50 (two wrong options removed, full pay kept) for 6 πͺ, and π Swap (a different question) for 5 πͺ. One of each per question.
- Ink β 40 πͺ for one more free test.
- Streak freezes β 10 πͺ each, up to 2 held. A freeze covers a missed day so your check-in streak doesnβt start over.
Spending coins never raises what an answer pays. It only buys more play, and spending never lowers your level or your league score.
What is ink?
Free tests are written with ink: each one uses 1, your first included. You get 3 free every month, plus more from π₯ Silver up. Unused free ink doesnβt carry over.
Need more? Buy 1 for 40 πͺ, 3 for $0.50 from your balance, or get 1 when a friend you invited becomes a member. Ink you buy or are given never expires. Paid courses never use ink.
How does the weekly league work?
Every week, Monday to Sunday (West Africa Time), learners are ranked by the coins they earned that week. The top 10 share $50 in real, withdrawable money β $12.50 for first, down to $2 for 10th.
To win a prize you need:
- a live membership, and
- at least 100 πͺ earned that week.
The board counts coins from answers, hat-tricks, check-ins and the cipher. Invite coins count too when your friend paid $10 or more for their link and more than you have paid for yours. Earn-list coins donβt count, and spending coins never lowers your score. Ties go to whoever got there first.
What are duels?
Challenge a friend on a course: you answer 10 questions, 30 seconds each, then send them the link. They have 24 hours to answer the same 10, and most right wins β the quicker total breaks a tie.
A duel takes 1 ποΈ ink, and your first one as the friend is free. The winner gets 30 πͺ and the other 10 πͺ, both from us. You can also put up a bounty of up to 50 πͺ: your friend wins it if they beat you, and you get it back if they donβt. Nobody else ever puts anything up. Duel coins are for spending; they donβt fill your cash meter or count in the league.
After a duel, tap Rematch to challenge the same friend again β theyβre emailed once youβve played. And every week, members who beat the most different friends share a $10 duel prize in real money (at least 5 wins to qualify).
What are levels?
Your level grows with every coin you ever earn, so spending never takes it away: π₯ Bronze at 500, π₯ Silver at 2,000, π₯ Gold at 5,000, π Diamond at 12,000, π Legend at 25,000.
Your π΅ cash meter pays real money. It counts the coins youβve earned since your last claim, and pays by the level it reaches: π₯ 500 coins pays $1, π₯ 2,000 coins pays $5, π₯ 5,000 coins pays $30, π 12,000 coins pays $105, π 25,000 coins pays $200. Coins from free practice tests β the ones that pay no cash β donβt fill it: spend those on power-ups, ink and freezes, and they still count in the league.
Claim whenever you like. A claim pays the level your meter is at β that one level, not the ones below it β then the meter starts again, keeping any coins past that level. So itβs your choice: $1 now, or keep going for $30 at Gold. The money goes into your balance, ready to withdraw, and your badge never goes down. Meters started at 0 when level rewards began.
Level rewards are one per person: they canβt be withdrawn to a bank account or wallet that another account with level rewards has already been paid to.
From π₯ Silver up, each level adds free ink every month.
Earn up to 100% as an affiliate
How does it work?
Pay any amount from $1.00 for a membership and you get your own link. Anyone who signs up on it is credited to you for good, and you earn on two things they buy: a membership of their own, and every course they ever buy.
You are paid at the sale, straight into your balance, and it is yours to withdraw. You do not wait for them to study or sit a test.
What do I earn when a friend buys a membership?
100% of what they pay if they paid the same as you or less. 10% if they paid more.
On a 100% referral a 5% processing fee comes off before it reaches your balance β that is what handling their payment costs. A 10% referral pays no fee.
- You paid $10 and they pay $10 β you get $9.50 (100% of $10, less 5%).
- You paid $10 and they pay $5 β you get $4.75.
- You paid $10 and they pay $50 β you get $5.00.
βWhat you paidβ is all your live membership payments added up, so paying more raises the amount a friend can match and still pay you 100%. It pays on every payment they make, including when they pay again next year.
What do I earn when a friend buys a course?
Each course sets its own commission β a share of its price, shown on the course and on your referrals page. Right now they run from 0% to 20% across 14 courses. How much of it you get depends on your membership:
- Full rate (paid more than $50.00) β the full commission on every course.
- All courses ($10.01 to $50.00) β the full commission on courses you own yourself, and 50% of it on the rest.
- Platform (up to $10.00) β 50% of the commission on every course.
- No live membership β nothing.
On a $100 course paying 20%, the full commission is $20.00 and 50% of it is $10.00. It pays on every course they ever buy, with no cap and no expiry.
What does membership cost?
Any amount from $1.00. What you pay sets both what a friendβs membership has to match to pay you 100%, and how much of a courseβs commission you get:
- Platform
- $1.00β$10.00
- All courses
- $10.01β$50.00
- Full rate
- above $50.00
Each payment lasts 365 days. Nothing renews itself and nothing is charged automatically. Pay again whenever you like β payments add up, so $5 and then $8 counts as $13, and the total steps down as the oldest ones run out. Your referrals page shows what you have paid.
Why does owning a course pay more?
On All courses, a course you own pays its full commission and the rest pay 50%. A recommendation from somebody who has read the course is worth more than a forwarded link, and we would rather say so in money than refuse to pay you.
Owning it is permanent β buy it once and every future sale of that course pays you the full rate, whether or not you ever sit its test. A Full rate membership pays it on every course without owning any.
What happens if my membership lapses?
You keep your link and everyone already credited to you stays credited β none of that is lost. What stops is the earning: a sale made while you have no live membership pays you nothing.
We will email you when it happens, naming the exact amount that sale would have paid you, so you can decide whether paying again is worth it.
